Aluna is designed to save battery life by only connecting to your phone during spirometry tests. However, some devices, such as smartwatches, earbuds, and Bluetooth hearing aids, may cause interference with the connection. If you receive a message that says 'Disconnect other Bluetooth devices', it's most likely due to the use of these types of devices.
When taking a reading, it's recommended that you disconnect other Bluetooth devices to ensure a clean and uninterrupted connection. Here are some signs of interference from other Bluetooth devices:
- The light stays green (not blue) while trying to connect, and you have other paired devices such as a Smartwatch and/or Bluetooth audio device
- You cannot proceed past the calibration page, and you have other paired devices, such as a Smartwatch or Bluetooth audio device.
