Android Permission Settings for the Aluna App

Specific permissions must be granted during installation to use the Aluna Spirometer through the Aluna App. If any of these permissions are not given, you might experience difficulties attempting to complete a spirometry test. However, you don't need to worry, as you can manually enable the required permissions from your Android settings to make sure you use the Aluna Spirometer.

It is recommended that you update your phone to the latest Android version available for your device by following the following steps. 

1. Navigate to Aluna App Info in the Android Settings
   1. Open the Settings App
   2. Scroll down and select "Apps" from the Menu
      1. Or you can search for "Aluna" in the 🔍 bar
   3. Select All Apps
   4. locate Aluna and tap the logo or blue text to enter the Aluna App Info menu
2. Aluna App Info Settings to Check
   1. Tap Permissions
      1. Location
         1. ✅ Allow While using the app
         2. Toggle the "Use Precise Location" 🔛 .
         3. Return to the Permissions page
      2. Nearby Devices
         1. ✅ Allow
         2. Return to the Permissions page
3. Unused App Settings
   1. 1. It may be located on the previous App Info page
      2. Pause App Activity if Unused toggle off ⛔
      3. Return to the App Info page
         
4. App Battery Usage (or just Battery)
   1. ✅ Unrestricted
   2. Return to the App Info page
5. Mobile Date and Wi-Fi
   1. Only on Certain Android models and OS
   2. Background Data toggle 🔛
   3. Unrestricted data usage toggle 🔛
   4. Return to the App Info page
6. Storage & Cache
7. 1. Clear Cache
   2. Return to the App Info page
