Spirometry examines the function of your lungs by measuring how much air you can exhale. It is used to understand how well your lungs work.
Aluna's spirometer measures FEV1 (Forced Expired Volume over 1 second). This is the amount of air you can release in a single second. Generally speaking, the higher the amount of air you can release, the healthier your lungs are. Lower FEV ratings indicate an inflamed airway.
